With astute financial acumen and a strategic approach, Jon MacIntyre serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Blue Heron, where he oversees the firm’s financial operations, strategies, and initiatives. Jon also serves as a member of Blue Heron’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
Jon is a seasoned professional with 19 years of experience in real estate, finance, and accounting. Prior to Blue Heron, Jon served as the CFO of HBC Properties and Investments, where he was responsible for financial oversight, capital markets, asset management, and leadership of Streetworks Development. In addition, Jon also served as acting CFO for related parties NRDC Equities, National Realty Development Corp, and the Family Office.
Prior to HBC, Jon spent eight years at WeWork. As their Deputy Chief Financial Officer, he provided oversight for global operations, financial planning and analysis, and various finance centers of excellence. Jon’s early career involved working on IPOs at PwC and MF Global, contributing to the successful public offerings of multiple companies, and 5 years at a leading alternative investment and asset management company.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. Driven by his dedication to giving, Jon founded a non-profit that fosters unity and creates uplifting experiences.
