    • ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHER

      The Blue Heron marketing department is expanding! The new Architectural Photographer will work closely with Blue Heron’s Marketing and Vision departments to bring the Blue Heron products to life.

      The right candidate for this position will understand the importance of representing a brand in their imagery and best practices for capturing stunning interior and exterior architectural photography, as well as Home-oriented lifestyle imagery. Photos captured by the Architectural Photographer will be used to establish and build the luxurious Blue Heron brand, sell properties, create brand content, and more.

      In addition to architecture, the new Blue Heron Architectural Photographer will have experience shooting:

      • Real Estate
      • Events
      • Portrait
      • Lifestyle
      • Videography experience isn’t required, but a plus!

      Day-to-day work may vary, but the Architectural Photographer will focus the bulk of their work around:

      • Creating and iterating with the Blue Heron teams on shot lists.
      • Capturing high quality photography with a variety of techniques and equipment.
      • Utilizing the time of day, season, location, and more to determine when and how to capture the best shots for the Blue Heron brand.
      • Using a drone to capture breathtaking imagery of Blue Heron Homes.
      • Editing all imagery in a timely fashion.
      • Present creative solutions and new ideas to bring the Blue Heron brand to the next level.
      • Creating and managing the BH photography and video asset library.
      • Managing and upkeeping of all equipment.

      The successful candidate will understand the need for working off hours, frequent standing, sitting, walking, driving, etc. as the job calls for.

      The Architectural Photographer will meet the following minimum qualifications to be successful in this role:

      • At least 3 years of experience shooting architectural photography.
      • Strong professional communication skills to coordinate between departments.
      • Experience working with an established brand and understanding of how to adhere to brand standards, especially for a luxury brand.
      • Existing portfolio for review.
      • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Appreciate and understand the importance of deadlines and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple responsibilities, changing priorities, etc.

      Have these qualifications? They’re not required, but a plus!

      • Drone photography experience and proper required licensing.
      • Working with storyboards, scripts, and shooting video.
      • Experience with video editing software and producing high quality videos.

    • CONSTRUCTION LABORER/PREP

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Construction Laborer/Prep to join our growing design-led development firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Basic construction knowledge.
      • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks; able to lift up to 50 lbs.
      • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
      • Reliable transportation.
      • Punctual, reliable, professional, basic computer knowledge, willing to learn and take direction, team player.
      • Must have own set of tools required to prep a home.

      Responsibilities:

      • Perform tasks and provide direct support as required by the Construction Manager for the duration of a project.
      • Clean entire job site weekly, including surrounding streets, driveways, and walkways.
      • Coordinate and maintain jobsite dumpsters.
      • Clean up all debris and jobsite trash as necessary.
      • Observe and report any potentially unsafe site conditions.
      • Provide assistance to the site superintendent as needed.
      • Coordinate material staging and site access.
      • Install small accessories and parts if/when needed and as directed by site superintendent.
      • Assist with dust control as necessary.
      • Prepare homes for walks detailing anything the Construction Manager requires.

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Client Services Representative to join our growing design-led development firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Basic construction knowledge.
      • Customer service experience.
      • Fabulous people skills.
      • Reliable transportation.
      • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and be productive without immediate supervision.
      • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
      • Punctual, reliable, professional with basic computer knowledge, willingness to learn, and a team player.

      Responsibilities:

      • Work closely with subcontractors and homeowners to resolve client issues during the warranty period of new Homes.
      • Evaluate Home owner repair issues to determine if they are warrantable items.
      • Schedule and manage subcontractors to make warranty repairs.
      • Certify warranty work is completed within contractor obligations.
      • Process back charge documentation and invoices.
      • Conduct Home turn over warranty orientations.

    • CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Contract Administrator to join our growing design-led development firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • 3+ years prior experience in a contract administration role or a related field.
      • 2+ years of Purchasing experience for a residential builder (preferably in Las Vegas).
      • Exemplifies knowledge of contract law, accounting principles and finance.
      • Has strong negotiation and mediation skills.
      • Possesses superior attention to detail to spot inconsistencies in contracts.
      • Has previous experience in residential construction and strong communication skills.
      • Able to work productively, independently and as part of a team.
      • Must have excellent analytical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
      • Previous experience as a project manager, or coordinating large projects is an asset.
      • Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities.

      Responsibilities:

      • Develop contracts to support organizational goals.
      • Review contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, etc. and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate.
      • Ensure that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
      • Write contract letters, notices, and other communications.
      • Attend meetings to assess progress on projects which are in motion and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders.
      • Create regular status reports regarding progress on projects.
      • Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
      • Assist Purchasing Manager in data collection and database entry.
