    • SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Senior Interior Designer to join our growing custom home design-build firm.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Proficiency in Sketchup, Bluebeam, Procore and MS Office required.
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field and actively working towards NCIDQ accreditation.
      • 7+ years of related experience.
      • Experience working in the residential homebuilding industry and/or with the public preferred.
      • Detail oriented, team focused, and the ability to independently solve problems.

      Responsibilities:

      • Promote and encourage the alignment with Blue Heron’s core values, policies, philosophies, processes, and methodologies.
      • Oversee all tasks related to the creation of aesthetically pleasing interior spaces, including space planning, material and finish specifications, overall color palette, and the coordination of architectural elements with interior spaces.
      • Align vision/design to brand.
      • Utilize tools to design, budget, and increase efficiency of design workflow.
      • Create and maintain all documentation related to the design process such as: interior elevation drawings, floor plans, finish schedules, specifications manuals, and technical drawings. As well as ensure that the design vision is accurately implemented in the field through consistent communication with the Construction team and regular field visits.
      • Foster and continually develop vendor and trade relations, seeking effective, efficient, and innovative materials that will be incorporated into Blue Heron custom and community products.
      • Actively mentor and have a proven record of assisting in the development of all Interior Design Assistants.
      • Handle up to five custom design-build projects at different stages of development and management.
      • Manage the client experience and expectations by overcoming objectives and providing clear and consistent communication.
      • Proven ability to design, budget, and effectively set and meet project milestone and timeline goals.
      • Proven cross departmental collaboration.

    • PROJECT DESIGN MANAGER

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Project Design Manager to join our growing Custom Home Design/Build firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Minimum 4 years residential or hospitality architectural experience in an architecture or hands-on homebuilding/construction organization
      • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture and on track for licensure
      • Working level construction knowledge to understand construction process, terminology and codes
      • Permit experience and knowledge of all applicable building and municipal codes

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Production Quality Control Specialist to join our growing Custom Home Design/Build firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Minimum 8+ years residential and/or hospitality architectural experience in an architecture or hands-on homebuilding/construction organization with experience in Construction Documents, Bidding/Negotiations, and Construction Administration
      • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited Architecture program
      • High level construction knowledge to understand construction process, terminology, codes, and ability to effectively communicate with Construction Managers
      • Permit experience and knowledge of all applicable building codes (2018 local, IRC, IBC)
      • Critical thinking and the ability to work independently
      • Must have a high level of analytical skills. Work requires continual attention to detail with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • Strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD required
      • Proficiency in creating Revit content/families, setting up models for production and optimizing Revit workflows.
      • Residential architectural design experience in an architectural or hands-on homebuilding/construction setting preferred
      • Bachelor or Associate Degree in related field preferred but not required
      • General construction knowledge to understand construction process, terminology and codes preferred
      • Permit experience and knowledge of local building codes preferred

      Blue Heron is seeking a full-time Director of Communities Construction to join our growing Custom Home Design/Build firm in Las Vegas, Nevada.

      Essential Qualifications:

      • 3-5 years of experience as high-level leader for a production home builder
      • 8-10 years minimum experience as Construction Manager or Project Manager
      • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
      • Intermediate skills with Mark Systems (ITK) and Procore Builder Software preferred
      • Excellent writing and communication skills
      • Ability to resolve conflict, and represent Blue Heron in dispute/contract negotiations
      • Ability to direct and motivate team direct reports

      Responsibilities:

      • Implement and support programs that will ensure the highest quality “end product” is achieved while meeting and/or exceeding target schedule and financial goals.
      • Act as a construction liaison to other functions and divisions within the Company, the local community and construction/development industry.
