Elan is perched on the side of a cliff with spaces jutting over the edge, taking advantage of the cinematic Strip and mountain views. Water is an integral element of the home by creating different experiences such as an entrance sequence that features a waterfall, an indoor reflection pool that gives the illusion of a floating stairwell, and an infinity-edge pool that reflects the Strip. The architecture uses multi-level angles to create an eye-catching form.

As a design philosophy, Vegas Modern is a response to place – an architecture for Las Vegas evolved from an ever-augmenting interpretation of this enigmatic city, its culture, history, and geographical environment. The design of Vegas Modern 001 aims to weave the Strip’s culture of theatrical idiosyncrasies and drama with characteristics of the Mohave’s natural environment through a series of unfolding spatial expansions, compressions, and the dissolution of shelter and landscape creating an immersive sensuous living experience. The Home juxtaposes precise materials with those of a certain rawness, characteristic of the American West. A discernible refinement is in constant dialogue with rich, natural materials resulting in a modern aesthetic abundant with warmth.
