As CFO of Blue Heron, Kevin Schubert leads the firm’s financial strategy and capital planning. With a dual background in law and finance, he brings over 20 years of executive experience navigating complex regulatory environments, public company governance, and strategic growth across real estate, technology, and hospitality sectors.
Prior to Blue Heron, Kevin served as President and CFO of Rubicon Technologies, Inc., a publicly traded software company focused on sustainable waste solutions. There, he played a central role in the company’s public market readiness, capital strategy, and investor relations. Prior to that, Kevin was CFO and Head of Legal of Ocean Park Group, an early-stage experiential hospitality venture. He also held senior finance and development roles at Red Rock Resorts, Inc. and Las Vegas Sands Corp., where he worked on large-scale development projects and M&A activity.
Kevin earned a Doctor of Law from UCLA School of Law and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management. Outside the office, he is an avid follower of English football and a longtime supporter of Chelsea FC.
